When my husband first moved to work in North Virginia, he told me, “You’ll love how many restaurants we have here!” Yes, the D.C. area can overwhelm the novice with an array of dining choices. With so many options available, nailing down to the “one” can get pretty mind boggling. If you are looking to take your special someone for an exclusive Valentine’s Day special dinner, here are some restaurants you might want to look into. From the accolades to the ambiance and the menu offerings – they offer plenty for a memorable experience.


Bastille, the contemporary French American restaurant is a Wine Spectator award winner and one of Washingtonian Top 100 Restaurants from 2008 to 2011.
